Cevapi is grilled dish of minced meat, a type of skinless sausage, found traditionally in the countries of southeastern Europe (the Balkans). They are considered a national dish in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. They are served 5-10 pieces on a plate, in a flatbread or with chips. Served with chopped onions, sour cream, minced black pepper and salt.
Croatian sausage contains little else apart from meat. Spices, yes.
The rest is pure meat, wrapped in real intestines.
