Our Milestones

April 4, 2016

How everything started in Qishan

Established in Qishan Old Street, Kaohsiung, starting as a humble food cart driven by a passion for introducing authentic Croatian flavors to Taiwan.

October 2016

New Home on Hebei Road

Expanded operations and relocated to Hebei Road, Kaohsiung City, opening the first physical store to provide customers with a stable and inviting dining experience.

December 2017

Sharing Croatian Cuisine with Kaohsiung

Officially invited by the Kaohsiung City Government to participate in government-hosted events, sharing Croatian cuisine with a wider audience.

February 2019

Online store success

Launched online sales of fresh packs of handmade Croatian sausages, surpassing 10,000 units sold and continuing to grow steadily.

April 2019

New Beginnings on Guangming Street

Moved to the current location on Guangming Street, Kaohsiung, offering guests an upgraded dining environment with enhanced services.

November 2019

A Story of Cultural Exchange

Featured in a special report by a Croatian local newspaper, bringing the brand's story back to its homeland and promoting cultural exchange.

February 2020

Growing media presence

Made the brand’s first TV appearance on Taiwan's Sanlih E-Television (SET). To date, the brand has been featured in more than ten major media outlets, increasing its visibility and influence.

December 2024

Sausage Festival

Proudly invited by Black Bridge Enterprises to participate in the annual Sausage Festival, presenting the unique charm of Croatian-style sausages.

Future Outlook

Sasa Croatian Kitchen remains committed to promoting Croatian culinary culture in Taiwan. With a focus on quality, authenticity, and innovation, the brand aims to set a benchmark for international cuisine restaurants and continue delighting customers with new surprises.

Many guests visit us hoping to experience our unique Croatian flavors, but without a reservation, tables fill up fast. Avoid disappointment — reserve your spot in advance!
To maintain a comfortable dining atmosphere, we welcome guests aged 12 and above.
Some dishes must be pre-ordered at least one day in advance to ensure the highest quality and freshness.
